Things to Be Noted to Our Hospital ~For Your Safe Hospital Stay~

Wristband

  • We require all patients to wear a wristband in order to prevent patient misidentification when giving injections or blood transfusions and provide safe inpatient treatment. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Your Cash and Valuables

  • Please do not bring cash or valuables more than necessary. Please note that we assume no responsibility or liability for any loss of your money or valuable items.
  • To prevent theft, please use a "card swipe safety box" available in your room. Please note that it is your responsibility to take care of your own belongings.

Health Insurance Card and Hospital ID Card

  • We check your health insurance card every month. Please show your health insurance card at the beginning of the month at the hospital admission and discharge counter located on the first floor.
  • Please show your health insurance card at the hospital admission and discharge counter located on the first floor if it has been renewed or if there are any changes.
  • We keep your hospital ID card during your stay in our hospital and return it to you at the time of discharge.

従来、携帯電話が医療機器に誤作動等の影響を与える可能性があるとの理由から院内における携帯電話の使用を禁止してきました。
近年携帯電話の改良や医療機器の機能向上等により、医療機器がその影響をほとんど受けなくなってきたことにより、携帯電話使用については下記のルールでの運用をお願い致します。

  • You are not allowed to use your mobile phone in your room. To use your mobile phone, please go to the cafeteria/common room located on each floor, the lounge located on the first floor of the east building or the space in front of the pharmacy located on the first floor of the main building.
    ※PHS devices used by our hospital staff operate at low frequency and are harmless.
  • The pay phones are located on the fifth floor and sixth floor of the main building and in front of the Consultation Room 1 located on the first floor of the east building.
  • Incoming calls may be forwarded till 7:30pmexcept for an emergency.

No Smoking in Hospital Buildings

  • Please note that no smoking is allowed except for the designated area (located on the right side of the main entrance).

Everyday with a permission from your attending doctor (except for Sundays)

If you are using the hospital wear/pajamas provided by the hospital, they will be replaced twice a week.
※3 times per week for a fee during summer (July-August)
【Linen Services】
Once a week (Pillow cases and bed sheets will be replaced)

※Mattresses are sanitized and washed periodically and we provide fine medical services.

Food

  • Please refrain from eating anything other than "Hospital meals" for your treatment.

Laundry

  • If you wish to use our laundry services, please purchase "Laundry Tickets (50JPY/ticket)" at the shop located on the first floor of the east building.
    ※Shop Opening Hours/8:00am-7:00pm (Hours may be subject to change)
  • Coin-operated washing machines available on the fifth floor for 100yen/30 mins If necessary, you may exchange bills into coins at the cashier on the first floor.

  • You may watch TV attached to your bed with a TV card. Please purchase TV card for 1,000 yen per card (tax included) from vending machines located on each floor.
    ※Please be sure to use headphones when you watch TV.

Electrical Appliances

  • Since it is required to obtain the permission from the head of our hospital to use electrical appliances (electric blankets, electric foot warmers, etc.), please make a request at the staff station. Your request may be denied depending on the types of the appliances.

What you need for admission

  1. Application form (Please submit it to the floor nurse by the day before your admission day.)
  2. Hospital admission agreement (Same as the above)
  3. Health Insurance Card (Including the Latte-Stag Elderly Healthcare Insurance Card and other publicly funded healthcare certificates)
  4. Hospital ID card
  5. Name seal (if available)

Things You Need during Your Stay

  1. Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, towels, paper tissue, etc.)
  2. Clothing (hospital wear/pajamas, underwear, shoes or non-slip footwear, etc.)
    ※Hospital wear is available for rent (for a fee)
  3. Tableware (such as a mug)
  4. Other items if necessary
  • Please write your name on your belongings.
  • If you are currently taking any medications, please bring them with you.
  • We may ask you to purchase paper diapers if necessary.

Discharge & Payment

Average Length of Stay

  • Since our hospital provides acute-phase care, the average length of stay is 2 weeks from the day of admission.

Discharge
  • Check-out time is 11:00am.

Payment

  • Please make a payment at discharge.
    ※If you are currently admitted to our hospital and wish to make monthly payments at the end of the month, we will issue an invoice on around the 5th or 6th of the following month.
  • Our cashier is open between 8:30am and 5:00pm except on Sundays and public holidays. Please go to the cashier located on the first floor in the east building.
  • If you are being discharged on Sunday or public holiday, you are required to pay the estimated medical expenses and we will issue a deposit slip.
    ※Adjustments will be made later and we will issue a receipt.
  • We accept credit cards.

Special or Specified Medical Care Coverage

  • Stay For Over 180 Days
    In case you wish to stay in our hospital for over 180 days even though the inpatient care is not required, 2,330yen per day will be added to your admission fee after 180 days as Special or Specified Medical Care Coverage.
